Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the main clutch operation and to perform the main reducing operation smoothly by constructing such that the reducing operation can be achieved in the neutral state at the lower side of the transmission. CONSTITUTION:A wet multi-board clutch 6 at the lower side (load side) of the transmission is interlocked with the speed reducing operation of a speed reducing lever 10 and turned off against a slide reduction gear provided at the upper side of the transmission. Consequently the input shaft 1 and the first intermediate shaft 2 of the slide reduction gear is disconnected against the load thereby no load is applied on said shafts 1, 2. The gears on the input shaft 1 and the first intermediate shaft 2 are rotating, but since it is under no load the slide reduction gear can be moved to gear with specific gears through the operation of the speed change gear 10 thereby it can be engaged with desired gear without disconnecting the main clutch.
