Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation in an electric current source circuit, by controlling the gain so that the overall gain is not affected by a temperature, in an amplifier whose gain is decided by a current ratio of 2 current sources. CONSTITUTION:In such a circuit configuration as shown in the figure, for instance, when a collector current of a transistor TR Q11, base-emitter voltage of each TR, supply voltage and the base potential of a TR Q4 are denoted asI11, VBE, Vcc and VB, respectively, their relations become as shown in expressions (I)-(III). Accordingly, a current I1 becomes as shown in an expression (IV) from the expressions (I), (II), and a current ratio I4/I1 becomes as shown in an expression (V) from this expressin (IV) and the expression (III). In this case, when VB=1/2Vcc is selected, relation of I4/I1=R1/R4.R11+R12/R11 is obtained, irrespective of the voltage VBE, and a temperature characteristic of the current ratio I4/ I1 can be compensated.
