Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve assembly efficiency by setting reference holes for assembling sufficiently apart from electron beam passing holes at a part or the whole of an electrode of a electron gun, and inserting mandrels into the reference holes to locate an electrode. CONSTITUTION:Reference holes for assembly 4a, 4b are set in the top surface of an electrode 2 formed electron beam passing holes 3b, 3c, where gives practically no effect on an electron beam focusing electric field sufficiently apart from the electron beam passing holes. Those reference holes are set at a part or the whole of the electrode to be assembled. After mandrels are inserted into the reference holes 4a, 4b to locate the electrode, bead welding is conducted. Therefore, different from the ordinary process directly inserting mandrels into the electron beam passing holes to locate the electrode, this process prevents the occurrence of burrs in the circumference of the electron beam passing holes and can improve assembly efficiency.
