Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve time-division multiplex transmission by simultaneously sampling output signals from remotely arranged sensors by using three cables for a clock signal, a control signal and data. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from sensors 11-1N are sent to encoders 21-2N, respectively. A clock generator 3 sends a clock to the respective encoder sthrough a cable 6, a frame code through a cable 51, and a control signal through a cable 41. The encoders detect the frame codes sent from the clock generator 3 through cables 51-5N of front stages and the encoders 21-2N-1 of the front stages and, on the basis of the positions, sample the sensor outputs to output encoded data OD2-ODN to the cables 52-5N+1 of rear stages on the basis of the control signals sent through cables 41-4N, thereby outputting the control signals to the cables 42-4N+1 of the rear stages. A receiver 9 receives the frame code and output data and then separates them from each other.
