Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve response of a plastic sheet etc., to the adjustment of winding tension, by fitting a rotary shaft and a chucking unit onto an expansible member so that they are arranged to be united by expanding the expansible member. CONSTITUTION:Lugs 13 are displaced outwards when an expansible member 1 is expanded by compressed fluid and, therefore, brought into contact with the internal surface of a slipping body 22. The slipping body 22 rotates when a rotary shaft 10 is rotated while leaves 26 are held in a stationary state. Accordingly, rollers 30 are moved and thrusted into narrow portions in wedge shape spaces 29 so that the leaves 26 are forced to spread. Therefore, the outer peripheries of the leaves 26 make surface-contact with the inner periphery of a core 40, thereby the core 40 rotates together with the rotary shaft 10 for winding a plastic film or the like. The rotary shaft 10 and the core 40 are released from their integrated state when the expansible member 1 is constricted, that is, the core 40 makes free from the leaves 26 since the leaves 26 are moved inwards by the force of springs 28. With this arrangement, the winding tension of the film is regulated by adjusting the pressure of compressed fluid, thereby response to the adjustment of winding tension of the plastic film, is improved.
