Abstract
PURPOSE:To substitute for high-frequency induction heating by blowing flames from a group of tip nozzles of a ring burner to an object to be heated and at the same time, jetting cooling liquid immediately before and after the flames and thereby heating in a narrow width. CONSTITUTION:The tip nozzles 7 of a ring burner A are divided into plural groups having different supply routes of combustion gas. A mixed gas for combustion is then supplied to the group 7 of tip nozzles and gas flame is blown against the object of heating. A cooling liquid is jetted from a cooling liquid jetting nozzle to the object of heating immediately before and after the gas flame. Temperature difference is given in a circumferential direction by adjusting the width of heating. Thus, this can be substituted for high-frequency induction heating at low equipment cost.
