Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce buzz beat of a sub-channel signal, by inserting a high gain amplifier between a BPF for pickup of FM modulated audio intermediate frequency signal and an audio intermediate frequency tuning circuit. CONSTITUTION:A part of an output of a video detector 4 is applied to a BPF 5 for FM modulated audio intermediate frequency signal pickup. The output of the BPF 5 is applied to an audio intermediate frequency tuning circuit 6 via a high gain amplifier 14 having >=13dB amplification factor consisting of a common emitter transistor 15, and buffer effect is given with the amplifier 14 to improve the signal distortion. In the tuning circuit 6, one end of a primary coil 7a of a tuning transformer 7 is grounded and another end is grounded via a capacitor 8, and one end of a secondary coil 7b is grounded via a capacitor 9, and an audio intermediate frequency signal picked up at a filter 5 is applied to an intermediate tap of the primary coil 7a.
