Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the oscillating frequency of the 2nd local oscillator, and to achieve stable picture with good tuning at all times, by picking up the spectrum of FM signal at the horizontal or vertical synchronizing pulse period of a TV signal, and detecting this spectrum to know the direction of detuning and amplitude of the spectrum. CONSTITUTION:An FM TV broadcast is received, FM detection is made at an FM detector 9, a TV video signal in video band to be detected is processed at a video signal processing circuit 10, and a horizontal or vertical synchronizing pulse is picked up from a synchronizing signal pickup circuit 15. The synchronizing signal picked up at the circuit 15 is applied to a gate circuit 16, the FM TV signal from a limiter circuit 8 is sampled at a synchronizing period pulse and applied to a frequency discriminating circuit 17. A voltage corresponding to the frequency deviation of the FM TV signal is outputted at the discrimination circuit 17, this voltage is applied to a control circuit 18, and the oscillating frequency of the 2nd local transmitter 7 is controlled with a control voltage from the circuit 18, allowing to output stable video signal with good tuning at all times.
