Abstract

PURPOSE:To open the front lid of a cassette quickly by rotating a lid opening lever by bringing the fulcrum of the lid opening lever, pivoted on a cassette holder, relatively close to the guide surface of a rotary lever which supports the cassette holder. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 1 is inserted into a cassette holder 3 and the cassette holder 3 is pressed down, the rotation of a rotary lever 28b allows the roller 78 of a lid opening lever 71 pivoted rotatably on the cassette holder 3 to move on the roller guide surface 79 of the rotary lever 28b, and the lid opening lever 71 is rotated against a tension spring 80. In this case, the fulcrum pin 73 of the lid opening lever 71 and the tip 79a of the roller guide surface 79 are brought close to each other and the lid opening lever 71 is rotated at a higher speed than the lowering speed of the cassette holder 3, thereby opening the front lid 2 of the cassette 1 with a bent piece 77.
