Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a sensor which can detect a mean tempreature and a mean humidity in a wide area, by a method wherein the structure of an electric cable is such that a high-molecular temperature-sensitive layer and a high-molecular humidity-sensitive layer are concentrically formed in order on a core thread. CONSTITUTION:A conductor 3 for a first electorde is wound around a core thread 1, and a high-molecular temperature-sensitive layer 3, a conductor 4 for second electrode, a high-molecular humidity-sensitive layer 5, and a conductor 6 for third electrode are concentrically formed in order thereon to form a flexible electric cable structure. A high-molecular thermistor material having an ion conductivity, an electrostatic capacitive, or an electronic conductivity is used as the high-molecular temperature-sensitive layer 5, and a polychloride vinyl component, wherein ion carrier is dispersed, is most suitable. A hygroscopic high molecule, such as plyamide, polyurethane, polyvinyl alcohol, can be used as the high-molecular humidity-sensitive layer 5.
