Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain coloring matter preparations which shield air and light, can prevent moisture from being absorbed, can retain the quality if coloring matter and can improve an operating efficiency, by heat melting fat and oil, a wax or a fatty acid which is solid at an ordinary temperature, dispersing a coloring matter therein, and spraying the mixture to cool and solidify it.

CONSTITUTION: A coloring matter of a mixture composed of at least two coloring matters is prepd., and, if necessay, dissolved in an aq. slon. of a saccharide, starch or a gum, and dried to prepare powdered coloring matter preparations. At least one member selected from fat and oil such as beef tallow, hardened oil such as rape oil or soybean oil, and a fatty acid such as stearic acid or polimitic acid, is molten with heating, each member being solid at an ordibary temperature. The above powdered coloring matter or powdered coloring matter preparations is added to the above molten member in an amount such that the concn. of the coloring matter becomes 60% or lower. The mixture is stirred strongly and thorouly to homogenize it. Then the temperature of the mixture is controlled. While keeping fluidity, the mixture is fluidified, sprayed into a cooling tank and cooled to produce coated coloring matter preparations.
