Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an esthetic appearance to a vehicle by covering the lateral portions of a chassis with the use of the floor plate of a synthetic resin body. CONSTITUTION:A chassis 3 carrying wheels 2a, 2b is assembled with steel pipes welded together, and comprises a front member 3a extending to the rear from a front steering shaft sleeve 5 and a substantially triangle shape rear member 3b connected to the rear portion of the front member 3a. A vehicle body comprises a fiber inforced synthetic resin floor member 15 and an upper member 16 forming a cabin having a ceiling, a lateral plate and the like, and is mounted on the chassis 3 for forming a vehicle. The aforementioned floor member 15 comprises a lateral portion 15a extending downward from its upper joint portion, a floor portion 15b bent inward at the lower edge of the lateral portion 15a and a center portion 15c extending inward from the floor portion 15b. The chassis 3 is disposed underneath the center portion 15c so that the chassis 3 is invisible from the lateral.
