Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently remove dust from gas containing high concentration of dust with a small pressure loss, by arranging a gas-injecting pipe which moves in contact with the surface of a net at the side of a purified-gas chamber to spray other purified gas toward the net.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is provided with a dust-contng. gas chamber 1 and a purified-gas chamber 2, each being separated together by a vertical net 3. Other purified gas is partially successively sprayed toward the inner surface of the net 3 through a gas-injecting pipe 4 which moves in contact with the net, so that dust adherent to the net 3 is dropped and removed during filtration of dust-contng. gas. Thus, the draft resistance of the net 3 is reduced, and dust- removal is performed with high efficiency. The gas-injecting pipe 4 shall be vertically arranged, but it is not necessary to use a straight pipe. The movement of the gas-injecting pipe 4 may be reciprocation, instead of rotation or pivoting. As a result, dust can be efficiently removed from gas containing high concentration high concentration of dust with a small pressure loss.
