Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of strain in an assembled piston body after assembly by wrapping up a connection rod tip ball in a plywood board to form a spherical surface seat and by uniting this spherical surface seat and the piston inside the piston by pouring fixing material. CONSTITUTION:A large portion of a ball 12 except a section near a rod 18 is covered as if to be wrapped up by a plywood board 16 which is composed of a buffer layer 13, a sliding layer 14 and a protective layer 15. Then, while this connecting rod 11 is coaxially positioned in a space inside a piston body 10 by means of a jig, a molding material 21 of synthetic resin or low melting point metal is poured up to a groove 20 annularly formed beforehand in a part of an inner wall of the piston body 10. As the result, since no load is laid on the piston body 10 when the connecting rod 11 is connected to the piston body 10, no strain is generated.
