Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the distortion component, by extracting the distortion component out of an amplifier which is a source of the distortion and adding this extracted distortion component to the distortion component contained in the output signal of the amplifier.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage signal (ei) of a signal source 1 is amplified by an amplifier 3 to be delivered to its output terminal 5. A voltage signal Ex is obtained at the terminal 5. The difference between the signals Ex and (ei) is amplified by an amplifier 8, and this output is supplied to a joint 23 between power supplies E1 and E2. The voltage Ey is supplied to the joint 23. A current flows to a load 10 due to the differenece between the signal Ex and voltage Ey. If the distorition of the amplifier 8 is reduced, the voltage Ey becomes identical with the distortion component of the amplifier 3 to offset the distortion component contained in the difference between the Ex and Ey. The amplifier 8 has just to amplifiy the voltage since the joint 23 is floating. Thus the distortion of the amplifier 8 is greatly reduced compared with the amplifier 3.
