Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate accurate positioning adjustment and to improve productivity by making an encoder movable and adjustable along the circumference centering at the rotating axis of a rotary disc. CONSTITUTION:After set screws 11 are loosened, an encoder 10 is moved while the projections 13 of the encoder 10 are engaged in the annular grooves 7 provided around the center of rotation of a rotary disc 2 on the fitting surface 6, by which the output waveform thereof is adjusted to a prescribed value, thence the screws 11 are tightened. At this time, there is no need for turning and adjusting the positions of a revolving shaft 1a and the disc 2; hence, the adjustment is made while the gap betwen the disc 2 and the encoder 10 is maintained constant. Thereby, the accurate positioning adjustment is made easy and productivity is made high.
