Abstract

PURPOSE: An improver for ground not causing environmental pollution, capable of reducing the shortest setting time, effective even by small amount of injection, having low execution cost, obtained by blending water glass with seawater or the residue remained after evaporating it as a setting agent.
CONSTITUTION: For example, (A) a solution of 140pts.wt. sodium silicate diluted with water is blended with (B) a mixed aqueous solution of (i) 3.5W6pts.wt. residue obtained by evaporating seawater and (ii) 15pts.wt. sodium bicarbonate, to give the desired improver for ground as a seeting solution. The total amount of water of the solutions A and B is 100pts.wt. In injecting this improver for ground into the ground, for example, the solution a is sent from the hose 8 to the inner pipe 4, and the solution B is sent from the hose 9 to the outer pipe by pressure respectively. Both the solutions are mixed in the chamber 6 at the bottom part of the injection pipe 3, and the mixed solution C is jetted from the hole 7 and penetrated into the ground 2 by pressure.
