Abstract

PURPOSE:To reciprocate a cassette holder smoothly, by gearing a pinion with a pair of racks provided with a cassette holder support plate and synchronizingly driving both pinions via an interlocking shaft. CONSTITUTION:A pair of racks 41a, 41b bent with a right angle along two guide grooves 15a are fixed to an inside surface of both holder support plates 10a, 10b located left and right side of a cassette holder 3, and a pair of pinions 42a, 42b fitted freely rotatably at the root of two roller bearings 19a gear with the both racks 41a, 41b. An interlocking shaft 43 is fitted freely rotatably between both side surfaces 5a, 5b and small gears 44a, 44b at both ends gear with large gears 45a, 45b incorporated with the pinions 42a, 42b. When a motor is driven with the loading of a cassette, a moving force is given to a roller bearing 19a via a gear drive mechanism, and the cassette holder 3 is moved along the guide grooves 15a, 15b with a synchronizing drive mechanism for both the pinions 42a, 42b and both the racks 41a, 41b.
