Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a treatment device for sewage which forms desirable flow in an aeration tank for activated sludge treatment for sewage and can treat sewage efficiently by providing said aeration tank and a baffle which is provided in said tank, partitions the tank inside to an inflow part and a remaining part and extends by crossing the tank, and providing a small opening or clearance in the lower part to this baffle.
CONSTITUTION: The above-described activated sludge treatment tank 1 for sewage is provided with a baffle 2, and an opening 4 is formed between the bottom end 3 thereof and the bottom part of the vessel. The baffle 2 divides the tank 1 to an inflow part 5 having a sewage inflow port 6 and a main aeration part 7. Solids are moved from the part 5 to the part 7, and the adsorbed and stored materials are consumed. The solids restoring adsorbing power is again used. The movement of the above-described sewage from the part 5 to the part 7 is accomplished through the part 4 of the baffle. It is verified in an area of said opening part 4 where the sewage can flow freely gives good results.
