- Treatment Of Biological Wastes In General (AREA)
Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a treatment device for general waste water which can be installed in a small area, provides good propagation of aerobic facteria and has good decomposing and purifying ability for general waste water by providing cavity-like trench culverts in the contact beds from a temporary stroage tank for general waste water to a perforated conduit to a water test tank.
CONSTITUTION: Home waste water is once stored in a water storage tank 1, where it is removed of solids, precipitate, etc., after which it is fed into a conduit 2 pierced with water trickling holes 3 and is supplied from the other end of the conduit 2 into a water test tank 4. The tanks 1 and 4 are of a box shape, and have opening parts on the ground which are normally held put on with covers 1a, 4a. Contact beds 6 of high voids consisting of gravel are formed around the pipe 2, and stagnating trays 6 for temporary stagnation of the general waste water from the pipe 2 are provided on the lower side of said beds 5, and further frame bodies 8 for forming tunnel-like trench culverts are installed on the lower side of the trays 6. The above-described beds 5 for the purpose of contact flowing down and seeping of the general waste water overf lowed from the trays 6 or flowed beyond the risers 6a of the trays 6 on accond of capillarity are provided on the circumferences of the trays 6. Impermeable membranes 9 provided under the frame bodies 8 are not always required.
