Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable successive copying and to lengthen service life in an electrophotographic receptor using a multilayer photosensitive structure, by forming a carrier transfer layer containing an aromatic amino compound and a styryl compound. CONSTITUTION:A carrier transfer fater is formed by adding a mixture of (A) 10-95wt% aromatic amino compound represented by the formulaIin which X is O, S, the formula II, or the like ; R1-R4 are H, alkyl, aryl, or the like; and R7-R10 are H, halogen, amino, or the like, and (B) 95-5we% styryl compound represented by the formula III in which R1-R4 are alkyl or aryl; Ar1, Ar3 are phenylene; and Ar2 is a homo- or hetero- cyclic sulfur-containing aromatic group. A photosensitive layer 3 consisting of a 0.005-20mum thick carrier genetating layer 2 and said 2-100mum thick carrier transfer layer 3 is formed on the conductive substrate 1 to make a photoreceptor.
