Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the man-hour and the time of the formation, by forming a conic shape by a dead load by expanding flat plates which constitute respective parts of the cone in a plane, by welding them, and by lifting the center part. CONSTITUTION:Flat plates 1-5 constituting the respective parts of a cone are cut in accordance with the size of the conic structure to form an I-shaped or V-shaped edge. Then, the flat plates 1-5 are transported to a work spot and expanded in a plane, and the flat plates 1-5 are welded to obtain an expanded raw material 6. Suspending members 10 are fitted to the center part of the expanded material 6 at equal intervals and the center part is lifted through suspending wires 11. then, the radius-directional part is inflected centering the center part by its dead load to obtain a three-dimensional cone which widens naturally toward the end. Lastly, seams 7 and 8 put close to each other are welded to obtain the conic structure 13 of prescribed size.
