Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a pipe straightens chaplet machine which straightens a pipe efficiently while neigher sticking cement, etc., to an outer circumferential surface nor recessing a metallic pipe with great bending, by provoding a conveying means for the metallic pipe in the direction wherein a metallic pipe to be straightened is drawn out of the throughhole of a fixedly arranged die. CONSTITUTION:One end of a metallic pipe 3 which is bent and stuck with cement on its outer circumferential surface is placed on the receiving plate of a weight detector 27, and a motor 18 is turned normally through the downward movement of the receiving plate 30 to turn groove rollers 11 and 11 as shown by arrows. In this state, the one end of the pipe 3 is pressed into the throughhole 4 of a die 2, and the pipe 3 is held between the rolls 11 and 11 and conveyed backward forcibly. At this time, when the pipe 3 passes through the hole 4, its bent part has great resistance to be drawn straight and at the same time, the cement sticking on the outer circumferential surface of the pipe 3 is scraped off at the entrance part of the hole 4. The pipe 3 passed through the hole 4 is conveyed, as shown by an arrow Y, by the rolls 11 successively and thus it is straightened without recessing the outer circumferential surface through the mutual operation of couples of the rollers 11. Further, the pipe is forced into the straightening hole of a straightening cylindrical body 23 for complete straightening.
