Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a highly accurate meausrement in a wide range by taking out a signal corresponding to current flowing between engergizing electrodes as a signal proportional to a liquid electric conductivity with the potential difference so set to equal to specified value. CONSTITUTION:An electrode cylinder 20 is equipped with a body 21 with a specified inner diameter and thickness made of a hard insulater in a bottomed cylinder shape. Energizing electrodes 11 and 12 are mounted both inside and outside the cylindrical section located near the bottom thereof. Measuring electrodes 13 and 14 are mounted inside the electrode cylinder located closer to the opening from the electrodes 11 and 12 thereof. The cylinder 20 is dipped into a liquid and an alternating voltage is applied between the power source terminal 15 and the ground. An arithmetic amplifier 16 sets the potential of the electrode 11 so that the potential of the electrode 13 equals the potential (e) at the end of the power source 15. An arithmetic amplifier 17 sets the potential of the electrode 12 so that the potential of the electrode 14 equals zero potential of the ground. The potential difference of a detection resistance R2 is determined with a subtraction circuit 18 thereby allowing a signal to be taken out from the output terminal 1 in proportion to a liquid electric conductivity (1/r).
