Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the drivability of vehicle during constant running by allowing a constant running device for vehicle to be automatically put to setting mode when the speed of vehicle is maintained within a specified value over a specified time. CONSTITUTION:A constant running device compares a vehicle speed signal, output from a lead switch 10 through a F/V conversion circuit 12, wtih an output signal a of vehicle speed setting circuit 70 by a comparator circuit 20 and controls the operation of an actuator 28 for throttle valve control in proportion to the deviation output. The above vehicle speed setting circuit 70 is provided with a differential circuit 72, a comparison circuit 74, a delay circuit 76 and a monostable circuit 78, and is designed to output a vehicle speed signal when maintained within a specified range over a specified time. An acceleration opening detection circuit 80 an acceleration opening judgement circuit 82 are added to a cancel switch 48 which resets a self retention circuit 30.
