PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical strength of magnetic shields by constituting the shields in the concentric arrangement of a plurality of respectively independent unit shields which divides and joins the shields in the laminating direction of a silicon steel plate when winding is wound on a leg section of a transformer core and the magnetic shields are mounted onto the winding through insulators. CONSTITUTION:The winding 3 is wound on the leg section of the core 1 forming a transformer, and the magnetic shields 7 are disposed at the upper and lower ends through the insulators 4, and fixed to the core 1 by means of supporting fittings 6 and clamping fittings 2. In this constitution, the magnetic shields 7 are formed in partitioned shapes that a plurality of unit shields 7A-7C divided into plurality within full width are arranged concentrically, and each unit shield 7A-7C is laminated so that silicon steel plates cut in prescribed dimensions are made parallel with the winding axis direction, and formed in circular or annular shapes with adhesives, etc. Thus, moment generated by unequal force in the axial direction is decreased, mechanical strength is increased and the absorbing effect of leakage flux is stabilized over a long term.
