Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesion type tape having excellent retention of adhesion, by forming a specific adhesive coating on a polyolefin-containing foam having its surfaces activated.
CONSTITUTION: Using a block copolymer rubber (e.g. styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer rubber) as a base material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having an apparent modulus of elasticity of 0.9W20kg/cm2 and containing substantially no active hydrogen that can react with an NCO group is blended with about 0.1W10pts.wt. polyisocyanate compound (e.g. tolylene diisocyanate), based on 100pts.wt. base material, to form a mixture. Subsequently, on the supporter of a polyolefin-containing foam having its surfaces oxidation treated and activated, a critical surface tension of about 41 dyne/cm or more, and preferably a skin layer formed on the surface, the adhesive coating comprising the above-mentioned mixture is formed to provide the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape.
