Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the fluidizing apparatus having good control property even in operation under pressure of a simple structure and high safety by a method wherein plural cylindrical blow-in ports having revolving blow-in chambers are provided and revolving motion is imparted to a fluidizing gas before it is blown into a fluidized layer. CONSTITUTION:In fluidizing operation of solid particles, plural revolvable blow- in ports 6 respectively having preliminary blow-in chambers of a fluidizing gas are arranged below a part forming a fluidized layer so as to direct the opening thereof upwardly and the fluidizing gas is sent into the preliminary blow-in chambers while revolving motion is imparted to said gas and sent into the fluidized layer from the blow-in ports to form the fluidized layer by blowing up and solid particles. By this constitution, the height of a furnace can be made low as well as the operation thereof under pressure is easily controlled.
