Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality and highly efficient bias device for a recorder of reduced adjustment for resonance while its frequency is varied easily, by generating a development bias AC voltage for electrostatic recording through a sine wave oscillator, an amplifying circuit, a boosting transformer, etc. CONSTITUTION:One of sine wave oscillating circuits 9a and 9b having different frequencies is selected with a switch 16a, and a sine wave with a desired frequency is processed through the A-class amplification of an amplifying circuit 10 which is brought under AGC, and then boosted by a transformer 11 performs unsaturated, distortionless operation to generate a sine wave AC development bias voltage. Further, a DC bias voltage based upon a feedback output which corresponds to the potential of a latent image is superposed upon said bias voltage, and the sine wave is not generated by generating a rectangular oscillating wave by resonance, so adjustments for resonance are reduced to facilitate frequency variation, so that a development bias device for an electrostatic recorder has excellent gradation reproducibility, high efficiency, low noise, and good quality.
