Abstract
PURPOSE: To inexpensively manufacture atomized steel powder contg. tin by adding a specified percentage of tin to tin plate scraps.
CONSTITUTION: Atomized steel powder contg. 0.05W2.00wt% tin is manufactured with tin plate scraps as starting material. The lower limit of the tin content is about 0.05wt%, and the upper limit is about 2.00wt%. By making use of this atomized steel powder contg. tin, a powder metallurgical product of high strength can be manufactured inexpensively.
