Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to make braking torque of a rotating machine as variable by a method wherein magnetic orifices being provided with a regulating ring are provided at a part of a yoke, and magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit of the rotating machine is changed by changing the lapping ratio of the regulating ring and the magnetic orifices. CONSTITUTION:The yoke 14 is arranged at the outside circumferential part of a rotating shaft 20, and is fixed to the main body 12 of rotating machine through a fixing plate 16. Coils 24 are equipped inside of the yoke 14, and an armature 26, a magnetic shielding plate 30, an armature 32 are arranged at the side of the yoke facing to the coils and being integrated in one body. A rotor ring 40 is arranged facing to the side of the armature 26, and is fixed to the end face of the rotating shaft 20. Moreover the magnetic orifice part 46 cutting deeply into the outside pole side is provided in the yoke 14, the regulating ring 48 engageable with the outside circumference of yoke is arranged, and the regulating ring 48 is enabled to be lapped on the magnetic orifice part 46. By changing the lapping ratio thereof using the regulating screw 50, flow of magnetic flux is regulated to change magnetic resistance.
