Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve focusing property by forming a cylindrical electrode consisting of conductive film inside a tublar body and by setting a through hole in the tabular body which is within a forming range of the electrode via which through hole electric power is supplied from a leading wire provided outside the tublar body. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of cylindrical electrodes 2c-2g are covered and fixed inside a cylindrical glass tube 6 in vacuum evaporation or spattering process. A through hole 7 is perforated to this glass tube 6 at each position where the cylindrical electrode 2c-2g have been formed. Conductive frit glass is filled inside the through hole 7 and calcinated to form a conductor 8. And, a conducting wire 9 is covered and formed in a long narrow strip to the conductor 8 exposed outside the glass tube 6, so as to supply electricity to each elctrode 2c-2g along the direction of a tube axis. In this way, since a leading wire does not exist inside the tube, generation of aberration due to electric field of leading wire is eliminated and focusing property of each electrode can be improved.
