Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve precision, by a method wherein a plural set of parallel electrode plate pairs, mounted at a proper spots of a liquid vessel, is employed, and the degree of parallel of the electrode plate pairs is maintained with spacers between the electrodes mounted at given intervals. CONSTITUTION:Fuel 15 is stored in a fuel tank 14, buffle plates 12a and 13a check shaking of the fuel 15 produced due to running of a car, and partition a space in a tank in cross to check the production of noise in the tank 14. The buffle plates 12a and 13a are securely welded to the fuel tank by a spot welding, and electrode plates 12b and 13b, positioned facing and opposite to the buffle plates 12a and 13a, respectively, are attached in parallel to each other through the medium of spacers being of an insulating substance. A capacitor consists of the buffle plates 12a and 13a and the electrode plates 12b and 13b to form an electrostatic capacity type liquid measuring gauge 10.
