Abstract

PURPOSE: To magnify and project a high-luminance color picture due to superposition of three primary color pictures, by connecting one end of an optical fiber bundle to a projection lens system and connecting the other end to respective high-luminance cathode-ray tubes corresponding to three primary colors of the light.
CONSTITUTION: The other ends 211b, 212b, 213b branched into three of an optical fiber bundle 2 are connected to high-luminance cathode-ray tubes 41, 42, and 43 respectively, and a color mixer part 21, which is condensed so close that red, green, and blue images are superposed in one end 21a, and an image guide part 22, which has the other end 22b connected to the color mixer part 21 and has one end 22a connected to a projection lens system 1, are provided, and three primary color lights projected from respective cathode-ray tubes 41, 42, and 43 are mixed in one end 21a to form a color picture, and this color picture is projected through the image guide part 22 from the projection lens system 1 onto a screen, and thus the color picture is reproduced with approximately natural colors.
