CONSTITUTION:When a self-diagnostic switch 62 is operated in an optional terminal station 42, a terminal identification signal and a diagnostic control signal are transmitted successively from the transmitting circuit of the terminal station 42 to a control station 1. A signal converting device 13 of the control station 1 receives these signals successively to identify the terminal 42 by a terminal identifying circuit 15, and a blocking signal is transmitted to prevent other terminals from originating signals. After that, a decision signal generated by a deciding circuit or the diagnostic control signal is transmitted from the transmitting circuit. The terminal station 42 receives these decision signal and diagnostic control signal by a receiving circuit, and the decision signal is sent to a display device 72 as it is, and the diagnostic control signal is compared and decided by a deciding circuit, and the result is displayed on the display device 72.
