Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of circuit elements and to reduce the current consumption, by using plural switching elements for switching an oscillation frequency to switch the oscillation frequency in an IC which outputs an oscillation signal of >=2 kinds of oscillation frequencies. CONSTITUTION:An inversion amplifier 21 outputs an oscillation frequency, which is controlled by transmission gates 22 and 23 using switching elements for switching the oscillation frequency, to an output terminal 20. The gate 22 or 23 is selected in accordance with a control signal inputted to a switching control terminal 15; and when the gate 22 is selected, a feedback resistance R2, capacitors Cs 3 and 4, an inversion amplifier 6 for oscillation, and a piezooscillator 11 consillating circuit. When the gate 23 is selected, the R2, Cs3 and 4, a piezooscillator 5, and the amplifier 5 constitute the oscillating circuit. Control signals of gates 22 and 23 are set to levels higher than the power source voltage of the amplifier 6 to lower the oscillation start voltage.
