Abstract

PURPOSE:To read an execution address and the state of an internal register in an instruction step of a processor, by stopping the operation of a microcomputer after performing interruption processing by the microcomputer when the execution address and the address of the internal register are coincident. CONSTITUTION:A micro (mu) processor 1 and a control storage device 2 are connected by a bus 5 including an address and a data bus and when a microcomputer accepts interruption, the internal state of the processor 1 is stored in a prescribed area of the storage device 2 to perform interruption processing. This set address and the execution address of the computer are compared mutually by an address-coincidence detecting circuit 4, which sends an interruption signal to the procesor 1 when the both are coincident with each other. Then when the computer stops, data in a prescribed area is read to an adapter 3 and displayed on a service processor SPV; when the computer accepts the coincidence of the addresses, the computer performs interruption processing and then stops by itself. After the computer is activated, the set address is varied and the computer returns to normal processing.
