PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary occupation time by a chattering eliminating circuit which utilizes clock pulses having longer pulse width than the longest chattering pulse of a mechanical for data input. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 11 is opened to input data to an electronic computer 50, an irregular pulse due to the chattering of the mechanical contact of the switch 11 appears on a data input line 41, and its inverted signal appears at the output of an NAND circuit 30 and is applied to the clear terminal C of a D type flip-flop 61 to control its count state and clear state. A clock pulse CP, on the other hand, is inverted by an inverter 64 and then inputted to an NAND gate 65 to be NANDed with the output signal (d) of the D type flip-flop 61.
