Abstract
PURPOSE:To always ensure the travelling with an economical fuel cost, by comparing the output voltage of a property converter which shows a working range of an internal combustion engine with an economical fuel cost with the voltage in accordance with the working degree of an accelerator pedal or the speed of revolution. CONSTITUTION:The pulse signal proportional to the speed of revolution of an engine and supplied to a terminal 1 is converted through a pulse/voltage converter 2 to be applied to a property converter 3. The converting property of the converter 3 is previously set so as to form a working range of the economical fuel cost which is enclosed by boundaries (a), (b), (c) and (k) respectively. A comparator 4 compares the output voltage supplied from the converter 3 with the voltage proportional to the working degree of an acceleration pedal and supplied through a terminal 5. Based on the result of comparison, a greem lamp 7 glows in case when the value of comparison is within the working range of an economical fuel cost. While a red lamp glows in the case of the comparison value is outside the working range. Thus the travelling is always possible with an economical fuel cost. The same effect is obtained although the input is reversed between the terminals 1 and 5.
