Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas from a blast furnace 1 is eliminated of its rough sized particle by means of a dust catcher 2. A wet type dust collector 7 is, parallel with a mobile layer type dust collector 3, provided between the dust catcher 2 and a turbine 4. Furthermore, a by-pass valve 5 is provided between an upper/lower reaches of the turbine 4 with an emergency cooling unit 6 in the down reaches of the valve 5. When the turbine stopped suddenly, a valve 40 is closed with a trip signal owing to the sudden stop for the by-pass valve 5 to eventually be opened, and the emergency cooling unit 6 is brought into operation simultaneously therewith.
