Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled equipment having a simple structure and which can thrust the valve guide and the valve seat simultaneously by spherically contacting valve seat supporting rings fitted around an inserting guide rod with a prescribed gap between them to the front end of a thrusting holder.

CONSTITUTION: An inserting guide rod 3 is fitted protrusively to the front end face of a thrusting holder 2 which advances and retreats against a valve seat hole (h) and a valve guide hole (g) of a cylinder head H of an engine. A holding section 31 which elastically holds a valve guide G is fitted to the outer periphery of the front end section of the rod 3. Moreover, valve seat holding ring 5 are fitted with a prescribed gap around a section of the rod 3 behind the holding section 31, and the holding ring are spherically contacted with the front end face of the holder 2. Because of the above mentioned constitution, even when a variance exists in the location of the hole (h) or the axial direction of the holes (h) and (g), the variance is absorbed and the valve seat S and the valve guide G can easily be put into the holes. That is to say, the guide G and the seat S can be thrusted into the holes simultaneously with one set of thrusting equipment and they can be fitted into each hole correctly.
