Abstract
PURPOSE: To make easier the construction of a culvert as well as to permit the free selection of the diameter and length of the culvert and the use of an annular form as the culvert by using the annular form formed by spirally winding a flexible strip material.
CONSTITUTION: A trench 1 for a culvert is excavated and cobble stone 2 and concrere 3 are laid on the bottom of the trench 1. And, an annular form 5 formed by spirally winding a fiexible strip material is laid on a foundation 4. For the annular form 5, projections 6 fittable with both edges of the flexible strip material are formed, and sheaths 8 with grooves 7 are covered on the projections 6. On the upper half periphery of the form 5, reinforcing materials 9 piercing through a through hole 11 provided in a spacer 10 are installed in the longitudinal direction of the form 5. Afterwards, concrete 13 is poured into the form 5 and hardened, and then refilling work 14 is performed. The form 5 serves as the inner wall of the culvert.
