Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a nozzle which permits easy production of a broad strip of uniform thickness by making the areas of the holes near the center out of the adjacent holes of the nozzle smaller than the areas of those further from the center and further, assuming the ratio of area of the holes at the both ends and area of the hole at the center to a prescribed relation. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle has a circular hole 9b at the center, circular holes 10b larger than the central hole 9b at both ends spaced from each other and plural holes larger in diameter than the central hole 9b and smaller than the holes 10b at both ends. All the holes 7b are arranged in such a way that, for example, the envelope 8a connecting each hole assumes a concave lens shape, thereby forming a nozzle port 4c. These are so constituted that the ratio a/A between the area (a) of the hole of the central hole 9b and the area A of the holes of the holes 10b at both ends of the nozzle port attains 0<a/A<1. It is preferable that this ratio a/A is 0.4<=a/A<1.
