Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the natural circulation of a cooling medium as well as the reverse flow of the gaseous cooling medium during stopping the operation after room heating operation and facilitate the restarting of the system by a method wherein a vane pump is utilized as a cooling medium circulating pump in the room heating system effecting the heat transfer thereof by utilizing the latent heat of the cooling medium.
CONSTITUTION: The liquidous cooling medium sent into a cooling medium heating heat exchanger 2 by the cooling medium circulating pump 5 through a pipe line 6 is heated and evaporated by a cimbustion device 1, thereafter, is flowed into an utilizing side heat exchanger 4. Here, a heat exchanging is effected between room air sent by a fan 3 and the cooling medium is condenced and liquefied, thereafter, is returned to the suction side of the pump 5. In this case, when the combustion device 1 and the pump 5 are stopped by a room thermostat 10, it causes a tendency wherein the cooling medium is circulated naturally by a heat remained in the heat exchanger 2 and a coexisting condition of the gaseous cooling medium and the liquid cooling medium is generated at the suction side of the pump or the gaseous cooling medium is flowed reversely into the suction side 9 of the pump through the pipe line 6. Therefore, the vane pump consisting of a plurality of vanes 16, a rotor 15 and the like is adopted as the cooling medium circulating pump 5 to prevent the above-described tendency.
