Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent wear of thrust bearings, rotor end face and casing surface of a screw compressor by supplying lubricating oil to radial slide bearing through lubricating passages formed in the casing and by supplying it through a pressure oil chamber to a thrust sliding bearings.
CONSTITUTION: An annular groove 19 leading to a lubricating passage 18 on the bearing surfaces is provided in radial slide bearings 9a, 9b. A lubricating passage 21 having a throttle 20 is branched on the lubricating passage 18, and the lubricating passage 21 is conducted to a pressure oil chamber 22 formed between the radial slide bearings 9a, 9b and the thrust slide bearing 11. Such being the case, since lubricating oil is supplied through the lubricating passage 18 provided on a casing 3, and it is supplied through the lubricating passage having the throttle 20 to the thrust slide bearing 11, it enables the bearings, the endfaces of rotors 4, 5 and the surface of the casing 3 to be prevented from wears and seizures.
