Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the characteristic of a chattering action, by securing a cone to the rotary shaft of an air motor, face-to-face contacting a piston pressed with a spring to said cone and actuating said piston with compressed air.
CONSTITUTION: To a rotary shaft 51 of an air motor 50 a cone 56 is secured simultaneously to said cone 56 a piston 58 pressed by a spring 57 is contacted at a face- to-face position, then at the opposite side of said piston 58 to the spring 57 an air chamber 60 supplied with compressed air is provided. In this way, release of a brake is performed by the compressed air while a friction part of the brake is always exposed to fresh air thus to almost eliminate occurrence of overheat even if a chattering action is repeated, resulting in the improvement of characteristic of the chattering action.
