Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a separation phenomenon between a shaft and a grinding material by a method wherein a felt type nonwoven fabric stuck fixedly with grinding grains, a net having the same diameter and a net having a smaller diameter are laminated in order.
CONSTITUTION: A grinding wheel consists of a felt type nonwoven fabric 1 stuck fixedly with grinding granis by means of a thermosetting resin, a net 4 composed of metal, a synthetic resin or fabric and a net 5 which has a smaller diameter than that of the aforementioned nonwoven fabric 1 and is composed of metal, synthetic resin or fabric. A shaft penetrating hole 2 and a key groove 3 are formed in each of the felt type nonwoven fabric 1, the net 4 and the net 5. These nonwoven fabric 1 and nets 4, 5 are alternately laminated and pressed with a clamping tool and then, they are penetrated with the shaft 7. The both ends are fixed with a flange 6. With this, the nonwoven fabric near the shaft is densely pressed with force, the strength is augmented and the separation phenomenon can be prevented.
