Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a compact structure for a facsimile device as a whole, by transporting both the original and the recording paper in the same range of width with each of their exhausting direction set in the same direction and furthermore collecting the storing parts at an area for the exhausted original and recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The recording paper is rolled out of the recording paper roll 14, and the tip of the paper is caught between the recording paper transport roller pair 17 and 18 via the writing head 15 and the platen roller 16. The cutting device 21 consisting of the movable cutter 19 and the fixed cutter 20 is provided at the right side of the roller pair 17 and 18, and the record transport roller pair 22 and 23 are set at the right side of the device 21. The recording paper is transported in the opposite direction to the travelling of the original by the recording paper transport device consisting of the roller pairs 17 and 18 plus 23 and 24. The roller pairs are distributed in the upper and lower tiers to secure the same range of width in transport of both the original and the recording paper. The guide plates 25 and 26 converts the travelling direction of the recording paper sent out of the roller pair 23 and 24 into the travelling direction of the original by 180 deg.. The recording paper exhausting roller pair 27 and 28 are distributed at the end part of the guide plates 25 and 26.
