Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an excessive improvement of an efficiency of heat collection and weather-proof characteristic of a selective heat absorption plane by a method wherein a carbon film is arranged on a base plate having a metal mirror surface and further a metal oxide film is arranged on the carbon film.
CONSTITUTION: In case that a glass plate is applied as a base plate 8 at a heat collection part such as a heat collection pipe 3 or a heat collection fin 2 etc., in a solar heat collector, the base plate 8 is sufficiently cleaned, set in a vacuum bell- type jar of a spatter device (not shown), the bell-type jar is discharged up to 10-6 Torr or so, and argon gas is introduced into the jar a pressure in the stmosphere in the jar is adjusted up to 10-2W10-3 Torr. Then, in case that for example, aluminum showing a high rate of reflection in a range of infrared wave length is applied as the first film 9, the aluminum is formed such that the carbon and metal oxide material are spattered continuously to a desired thickness to form the first film 9, carbon film 10 and metal oxide film 11, resulting in making a desired selective absorption plane.
