Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the damping of low frequency high amplitude vibration and the absorption of high frequency low amplitude vibration effectively, by regulating the expansion/shrinkage deformation of a rubber resilient member film for performing the vibration-proof function within predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:A portion of the first fluid chamber side wall 3 is constrcuted of a rubber resilient film 34 and film contacting members 311, 331 for regulating the deformation of the film are provided in the proximity of the film face while facing each other. The contacting members 311, 331 will function as stoppers for regulating the deformation when the film 34 deformed in up and down direction. In a device constructed in such a manner, when low frequency high amplitude vibration from engine or other chassis is applied on a supporting board 8, the supporting board 8 is deformed while when pressure difference occurs between the first and second liquid chambers 9a, 9b, the encapsulated liquid flows over through a throttle hole 6 to perform the vibration damping function. A portion of the vibration of high frequency low amplitude vibration is absorbed by a supporting board 8 made of a rubber resilient member while the other vibration is absorbed by the expansion/shrinkage of the film 34. When the deformation of the film 34 reaches to predetermined level, the deformation is regulated by the contact members 311, 331 to prevent the deterioration of the damping effect.
